ENCOUNTER WITH THE TOILET FROM HELL

omfg: the toilet, no doors. but the bad part was, the toilet bowl was just a huge drain across the male and female toilets.. and the BIG problem was, there is no flush, except periodic ones, which will wash all the stuff away at certain time intervals. the BIGGER PROBLEM was, there was shit all over the drain. the ULTIMATE PROBLEM was, i was bloody urgent. -.-

PRIMARY SCHOOL VISIT

this is the shop many(the richer kids) would flock to to get some tidbits. others would just stay in school and play games.

MINORITY GROUP VILLAGE VISIT:
we're so lucky! this village was infested with house flies. but it was interesting to see these locals happy with their way of life, made me ask myself, are we happier or are they happier?

OLIVE CONNEXIONS FARM STAY:

OLIVE CONNEXIONS is where our lovely missionaries are working and staying, so we bunked in with them for 2 days, enjoying lovely food cooked by the hospitable villagers. OMG, everymeal with them was vegetables, and some vegetables. but then again, it was good. VEGETABLES NEVER TASTED TO GOOD. i tell you the onions were gigantic! and so sweet! kinda tasted like bk's onion rings, except without the bread crumbs around it.

the children brought us around.. and brought us to these bushels of wild berries. Zomg, they taste so sweet.

this adorable GIRL, is li su i think. she is damn cute. she'll just climb up and down, not caring about attracting others attention. she'll just do what she wants to.

a game of blind mice

this is li su's older sister, li mei. she is so pretty with her small dimples. except for some scabs on her face she got from a fall, she is so sweet, especially when we distribute sweets, and she holds em all his her hands, sucking one slowly at a time. unlike li su, who'll gobble everything down and even snatch from li mei's inventry. but then again li mei would be gracious and give one or two to li su. LOVELY.

LIJIANG:

we flew to lijiang for a short holiday there. we stayed at some 200 year old building-refurbished-into-a-hotel kinda inn. lotsa cool stuff there. itsa very old city. but it was damn pretty. the whole place reminded me of those crouching tiger kind of movies.. where the bandits would jump roof top to roof top then rob a damsel of some important jade pendant, then a ferocious chase will erupt between the hero and the bandits bla blah. LOL.

and YAH YAH! in lijiang, at the dunno what pond, people spread rumours about catching the carps in the pond to be bad, and wd bring bad fortune to ward funny bunnies who want to catch these fish. but then there were 4 guys, damn sneaky lah. they just brought a ROLL of fishing line, attached to a hook, caught a fish, and conveniently chucked the fish into a fake adidas bag, and walked off, like it was socially acceptable to catch a koi from your own county's famous tourist attraction.
