here's a vague description on the history paper today;
q1. to what extent was disunity the main factor accounting to the failure of nationalism before 1941?
-disunity not the main factor
-isdv people trying to rid not SI's non communist leadership
-semaun leaves isdv/si to from pki. rivalry btwen si & pki.
-other factors like western suppression
- eg burmese still failed despite efforts to unify the nat front to impress the Simon commission.

q2. how far do you agree that the Japanese occupation was a watershed in nationalism?
-japanese tolerated and approved such movements
-valuable admin experiences gained. real govt posts were issued
-armies could be formed.

q3. to what extent was the decolonisation process a peaceful one?
-split meaning of peaceful into a. smooth, w/o hindrances and b. non-violent
-talk about the different combinations of a&b manifesting in the diff countries.


alamak! siah lah! i had writer's block! nothing flowed in my mind, except for the essays i memorised a few days before. really thank God that i forgot that midyears already tested the first question, and blindly went to memorise an essay on that. only on sunday night i realised that chances of it coming out was low. but thankfully i did revise that, if not i'd have an extra 45 minutes of napping time. most of the time, i was smoking through. haha! i did more analysis cos my facts were shallow! but i did try to ensure my essays were of a good 3-4 sides long length. looks better ma!

okay, so the night before, i told gehui to meet me at 1115. but only half way throught the paper i realised that, MY PAPER WOULD END AT 1015!!! but anyway, ge was already on her way to cck when i called her at about 1020. :) we went down to queensway to look at bags, and her shoes. we missed the trainstop and had to back track. i bought an eastpac! have been wanting to get one since last year, but didnt really see the feasibility of it. well, the main reason was cos i thought it looks really cool, and in england(ithink) many people carry it around, or so i read in a magazine, and not many people carry it in pj! i found a pretty pretty design and haggled the price down to a reasonable one. gehui wanted to look at pony shoes, but to her dismay, the queensway people weren't orderin them anymore. one uncle even commented that the brand "pony" was a failure. wth! well, pj has legions of people wearing their shoes. so does that make pj a failure school? naw! anyway, ge is still not givin up on her ponies and will continue to look for them, no matter how long it'll take.

anyway, we went to ikea. found lotsa quirky stuff! i bought cardboard shelves for my insanely-messy table, a clock, photoframes, and mirrors. the stuff were soooooo heavy i tell you! on top of that, mummy made me buy swedish meatballs from the minimart. had to get the cranberry sauce and all too. mega-ultra heavy. and i had to walk all the way from je mrt to ivory heights! not near you know! like 15 mins walk! heavy okeh! even the security guard looked at me and said, "wah all your veins come out already!"

righttttttttttt.

i'm going out with huimin tmr! we're going to....? i dont know where we're going, or what we're gonna do. we;re broke and bored of the usual places. OH WELL! maybe we'll find a nice cafe and chat the afternoon away. (:
