flu jab
events today:
1. took the anti flu jab
2. skipped rugby lesson/training
3. bought new shoes
4. mummy bought asics for herself (WTH!!!)
1. took anti flu jab
cos i'm going for the cambridge trip, had to take the flu jab in the hols. i actually postponed the jab cos i didnt want to fall in for the china trip, and then after the china trip i delayed it further cos i didnt want to be sick for the MYEs. so i took it today. the nurse damn cheeky lah. she talked to me about why pregnant cannot take jab then suddenly she just jabbed the whole thing into my arm.
2. skipped rugby lesson/training
after the jab my whole upper arm ached. the nurse told me to not over-exert myself cos introduction of the jab substances may cause me to fall ill. so best is to maintain a strong immune system for now. then mum got freaky over how my dad fell ill the last time after a jab and refused to let me escape her site. sheesh. then, being such a sweetie. she brought me shopping at queensway instead.
3.bought new shoes
i bought a new pair of shoes! great now i can dump my "fuhua dayz" torqoise nike sneakers. i swear that pair is so old, the sole is smooth enough to reflect light. its only after the china trip i started wearing it again cos converse was too dirty. (: nice mummy agreed to buy it cos i said i could wear it in london. (she wanted me to get a pair of shoes for cambridge. but what she doesnt know is that i'd prefer wearing slippers)
4. mummy bought asics for herself
NEVER IN MY WILDEST DREAMS HAVE I IMAGINED MY DEAR OL PRUDENT MUM TO BUY A PAIR OF ASICS RUNNING SHOES FOR HERSLEF. alright my mum has gotten herself in a "health-frenzy" mode. and she's always going to the gym at JCC. so, she said, "hey lets go to queensway i need to buy a pair of running shoes." she's pretty prudent to stuff like these, so i assumed new balance-saucony bla bla. then she walks into a shop and points to an asics and asks the indian uncle "this one, best price, uncle, best price how much?" the uncle replied "104 mamm. best." so my mum turns to another pair, "this? i tell you! my daughter's soccer boots from here also! best lah uncle!" then uncle says "best? $140. best." then my mum sat down to try the $140 pair, and bought em instantly. :/ (grrr everytime i go queensway buy shoes, she prefers me to get "under $100". sigh the irony of it all) THEN, she buys the sweet mary jane crocs too!. omg.
gah! pw thingy tmr @ 9am in school! :(
